Da Capo
Built on the Swedish west coast by Najad, a yard famous for high quality and by people who know how to build boats that can sail the North Sea even in the winter. She was built in 1989, is well maintained and equipped for safe and efficient passage - but also for comfortable cruising in tropical waters. That includes a feature that few other boats have, and that guests on Da Capo soon learn to appreciate: A high capacity water maker, producing water cleaner than that one can buy in bottles, and enough to let everyone on board take fresh water showers whenever they want. Da Capo can sleep four people in two separate cabins. She is the ideal yacht for couples and has everything on board needed for pleasant, unforgettable days and nights in San Blas.

Skipper and owner Mats, from Sweden is a retired journalist and PR-consultant. He has been sailing for 40 years, made four Atlantic crossings and has been sailing fulltime professionally since 1997. He is also a passionate chef, devoted to the challenge of making his guests delighted at the table of Da Capo, be it Eggs Benedictine for breakfast, a Swedish national dish for lunch or a new way to cook the lobsters for dinner. His wife Dina, from Cartagena, when not on board as hostess, is responsible for the land service that keeps Da Capo such a nice boat. Dina has been working with sailing yachts and with charter in San Blas most of her life. And she also is a great cook, with a nice Colombian touch.
