Pepita
Pepita has been sailing year-round in San Blas waters since 1997. Due to her light displacement and speed under sails, Pepita can sail when other bigger cats do not! Pepita is stable, offers generous deck space, and a 3’ draft allows access to shallow waters for private anchorages. She sleeps up to 6 guests in addition to crew.
Although built in France, Pepita has been modified to sail the San Blas islands . Her varnished wooden cockpit table can seat up to 10 guests, her front cabins are spacious and naturally very well ventilated. She has 6 solar panels and a wind generator but also 4 alternators for more energy (also available 110 and 220 volts thru an inverter) A 11’ dinghy and its 15 Hp outboard engine, a twin seats kayak, snorkeling equipments for 6 guests, are available as your water toys!
Capitan Gilbert loves to live like a “Robinson Crusoe”: he will host you courteously and show you the best of the San Blas (traditional villages, fishing and snorkeling spots, etc..) but also share with you some secret remote anchorages… Gilbert loves good cooking and he is lucky to have Adeline, French hostess (also speaking English and Spanish), who prepares good meals based generally on the catch of the day (lobsters, crabs, fish).
