What to Do
Travel to Belize with JB Journeys and experience one of the few remaining unspoiled natural places left on earth.

Immerse yourself in ancient Maya culture, hike tropical rainforest trails, or dive the longest barrier reef in the western hemisphere.
An English-speaking country of only 250,000, Belize is small enough to do all of the above in a matter of days. In short time you can visit another world, another time.
But if you can, we invite you to do more, dig deeper so to speak, to recharge the mind, the body, and the spirit.

In the Mountain Pine Ridge region of Belize, you hike to gorgeous waterfalls or follow the trail of the elusive jaguar. Rare and endemic birds, large like the Orange Breasted Falcon and King Vulture and small like the Tody Motmot or Lovely Cotinga, are found during daybreak or dawn birding walks.
Ambergris Caye, a charming barrier island, is home base for diving and fishing, beachcombing and bicycling. Dive or snorkel the crystal clear waters; take in the Blue Hole or Hol Chan under-water marine reserve. Land your own dinner by fishing the reef or fly-fish on the flats. Novice to expert, something for everyone.
Hundreds of ancient Maya sites, some excavated and others still wrapped under a layer of jungle, tell us that Belize was the heart of Maya civilization during the classic period. A climb to Xunantunich, the highest Maya temple in Belize, offers a vista of the ancient kingdom, as well as eye-level views of monkeys and birds.
In the midst of the jungles, you stumble upon boutique hotels or lodges, complete with fine culinary offerings, amazing wine selections, and pampering jungle spas.

The beauty of Belize gives honeymooners a quiet place to escape after weeks or months of wedding planning. Or even better, the setting for a destination wedding, witnessed by only you, or a small number of family and friends, birds, butterflies and Mother Nature.
Good things do come in small packages.
They were talking about Belize when they wrote that!
