You will stay at  Hidden Valley Inn in the Mountain Pine Ridge area of Central Belize and the Lodge at Big Falls in the southern part of the country near Toledo, two lovely and comfortable lodges, each with a resident birding guide who will show you local birds and get you on the endemics.

Birding in Belize - 10 Days

Immerse yourself in the avian diversity of Belize.  You will be guided by expert birders along freshwater lagoons, streams, forest and savanna of the Lamani, Mountain Pine Ridge and a glance at the itinerary will reveal your potential sightings.

A great itinerary for the independent birders, this tour takes  you to three very comfortable jungle lodges in differing habitat.

Visits include the Agua Caliente Wildlife Sanctuary, with over 150 species of birds, including each of the five kingfishers found in Belize, black-necked stilts, boat-billed herons, roseate spoonbills, and an assortment of manakins, grebes, egrets, and others.

Belize Highlights - 9 Days

 

Explore the diverse habitats of forest and ocean in this 9 day tour. You will explore 3 caves by 3 different means; walking, your choice of canoe or a strenuous swim/hike, and tubing! Tour 2 impressive Mayan Ruin sites of Caracol and Xunantunich. Round out your week by diving into the watery realm of the Caribbean, and the Hol Chan Marine reserve.  Two days are free for you to either relax or recreate at the ocean.
