travel in the time of coronavirus
JB Journeys hopes to begin tours again in the second half of 2021.
For the safety and comfort of the group, we ask that our travelers be vaccinated for COVID-19 and that you carry proof with you. Additionally, we will require that you wear face masks when in close contact with others, including but not limited to, being in vehicles. Also, we ask that you distance when possible and observe healthy sanitation. We will continue this practice until it is safe to do otherwise.
Travelers must follow rules of the country they are visiting and any requirements of the airlines.
We stay in touch with our local suppliers and re-confirm with them the importance of cleanliness. This will be stressed throughout all of our tours.
This is the time to consider a private tour, just you and the family or group of friends with a private guide and driver. We are happy to put this together for you. Click here and get started.

Here are a few things you can do to stay aware and prepare:
- US State Dept, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) websites. This State Dept link is for international travel and issues warnings for safety, health, and other reasons. You should check this site often. Also, sign up for their STEP program to receive regular updates on destinations you plan to visit. The CDC gives information and issues warnings based on health issues. WHO is another resource for travel and health questions.
- Consider travel insurance. Starting now in 2021, some travel insurance policies are offering coverage for pandemics and may cover payment for quarantining. Please read carefully. If you paid for your trip with a credit card, do check the benefits and see if it has a travel insurance as a perk, and what it may cover.
- Travel Smart and healthy. Keep yourself healthy while traveling as well as at home with a good diet, plenty of sleep, and staying clean. Wash your hands often and use sanitizer. Have wipes handy for frequently touched items. If you feel sick, stay home.
