JB Journeys is excited to work with Texas Ornithology Society - TOS - in this exciting birding adventure to Belize in October to take advantage of migration season. We begin birding in the Maya ruins of Lamanai looking for rainforest birds and some of the Yucatan specialties, then on to the Maya Mountains and Mountain Ridge, looking for raptors like the gorgeous Orange-breasted Falcon, and finally the Big Falls area in southern Belize. Here you'll also visit the Hawk Watch, looking especially for Hook-billed Kite, and assist in counting this natural phenomenon. Escorted by TOS ex-president and raptor enthusiast Byron Stone.
